How long does a project take?
I work pretty fast but I’ll never rush you - we’ll set a specific timeline based on your specific project, goals, and release schedule, and we do most of the production and writing together.
Do you help with lyrics and melody?
Yes - I’m your creative partner in this - in addition to producing I’m a strong co-writer, and I have some incredible songwriters on my team as well that I loop into projects when it makes sense.
Do you use AI to produce?
Hell no.
I believe the best music is made by and with people. I have no need or desire for AI in that process.
What type of artists do you work with?
Mostly pop, rnb, and alternative, but I love all sorts of music and i’m very open to genre benders and all sorts of projects - if you’ve got a dope sound or concept i want to hear it.
Why shouldn’t I just do this myself or with a friend who kinda produces for free?
Hey you 100% can, but I imagine since you read this far you're either feeling burnt out or moving slower than you want to.
One of my artists Zoe was working with a friend-producer, but she found the songs didn't hit hard enough and she wasn't making the progress she wanted to. Now she's talking with a label who's expressed interest in one of our songs.
What if it's too expensive for me right now?
I know - it's scary to invest in yourself. but the truth is, good songs will make or break your career. If the songs aren’t good, people won’t listen, and nothing else will work.
I did an EP project with Malia, and she felt nervous about diving into a project with a higher budget because she didn't feel certain about her ability to complete something that felt so monumental
but we did it together, and it was awesome.
when we finished our EP she thanked me for helping her make the decision to press go, saying it was the first time in her life she said she was going to do something big - and actually saw it through.
Who owns the rights to the songs we make together?
You do. I’ll receive a small royalty on the master, and we’ll split publishing between songwriters. My sync partner actively pitches all songs in my catalogue for film, tv, and ads, so if we land a sync you’ll get paid.
What if my music isn’t ready for this level of production?
Most artists have imposter syndrome and you might be more ready than you think. I’ve started songs from voice memos that turned into absolute bangers. Even if you’re unsure I encourage you to send me something - I promise I won't be mean 🖤
